Recently, Greg Deese visited the Kinston, NC Battlefield where the Tramp Brigade fought in  December 1862.  There is plenty of land that is in private hands and for sale, much of which is unprotected.  This area will be a top priority for the TBM.  The visitor center hardly mentions the South Carolina Soldier.
